SelfCare: Daily Affirmations — Privacy policy

What stays in your browser

SelfCare uses your reminder time, selected categories, pause choices, and appearance to show affirmations. Preferences are stored with Chrome storage sync. If Chrome sync is enabled, Google may sync these preferences to your signed-in Chrome browsers under your Google account settings.

Your current affirmation, content rotation, notification destinations, and saved favorites are stored locally on your device. SelfCare is free. Pro is Coming soon; there are no in-extension purchases.

What we collect

Self-Care Shower does not receive your extension data. The extension does not collect browsing history, website contents, personal identifiers, payment information, or usage analytics. It does not send network requests, use tracking cookies, or load remote code. We do not sell or share extension data.

Permissions

Notifications shows your affirmations. Alarms schedules reminders. Storage saves your preferences and affirmation state. SelfCare does not request access to websites you visit.

Links you choose to open

Links to the iPhone app and Self-Care Shower open external websites only when you select them. Those websites have their own privacy policies. No extension settings or affirmation history are attached to those links.

Your choices

Change or pause reminders in Settings. Remove the extension to remove its local storage. Manage Chrome sync and synced data through your Google account and Chrome settings. Each browser installation schedules its own reminders.
